Monarch Ski Resort has no hotels! It has By Owner Rentals, tho, so please check those out. We are suggesting hotels in Salida, which is 20 minutes away, and a few in Gunnison, which is 30 minutes from Monarch... and 30 minutes from Crested Butte Ski Resort, which would be fun! We use Trip Advisor and Hotels.com.

"We are building a house in Salida and we take frequent visits. The owner Mike, and his team are amazing. Very clean rooms, nice fluffy towles, excellent beds, fresh cut fruit at breakfast, and great coffee. "We stayed for seven nights while in Gunnison for my high school reunion. The room was large and we really appreciated having two sinks, one in the bathroom with toilet and tub and one right outside by the closet. It wasn't fancy but it was more than adequate.
